This service is for people who want to learn or increase their English proficiency through speaking, reading, and writing the language for daily communication personally and in the workplace.
We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced conversational and written lessons.
Private classes are always available. Small classes require three to four participants.
This service is available by request individually or in small group settings for clients with at least an undergraduate degree in a field in their native language who need to learn the English equivalent terminology. Options include:

Please note that these courses are not to be substituted for learning course content, For example, while you may learn the proper words for mathematical concepts and parts of equations, the instructor will not be teaching the material you would learn in a calculus course in these sessions.
This five-day workshop series is available for newly-arrived college and graduate students. It requires five clients to run, but you can request one-on-one training for a customized price and select content. Each topic consists of 2-4 hours of discussion and training time with morning and afternoon sessions and a daily lunch break. Topics include:
Writing support and academic content support with special consideration for ESL students are available under general tutoring services. If you expect to need extra help with the language and terminology during these sessions, please let a manager know in advance. We encourage you to schedule private tutoring sessions or book group sessions with other clients whose English is at the same level so the tutor can give you the support you need while satisfying all participants.
While we do assist with applications, we do not write the applications or essays for you. We will guide you through the process, explain what schools and employers are seeking, and brainstorm with you possible ways you can answer questions based upon your life and professional experiences. As is true of our general writing services, we do not proofread or correct your writing. Our job is to help you identify the strengths and weaknesses in your writing and teach you how to fix problem areas..
Similar to applications, we do not correct or proofread what you have written, but we do assist you in identifying patterns of errors in your writing, teach you how to document properly, and discuss where parts of what you wrote may not make sense.
Our tutors for this service have completed a minimum of a master's degree, usually a doctorate, and have sat on dissertation or theses committees.
